How to launch white node

Minimum requirements:

  1. OS Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2 Standatrd/Datacenter, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019.

  2. Static ip address from your provider.

  3. Computer requirements:

3.1. Computer minimal:

  • CPU: Intel Core i3 or higher.

  • Network: 25 Mbit/s or higher.

  • RAM: 4 GB DDR4 or higher.

  • HDD № 1: 1x120GB SSD for operating system Windows.

  • HDD № 2: 1x1000GB HDD or SSD for storage or higher.

  • Windows Firewall can be enabled with default settings and no additional settings are required.

3.2. Computer middle:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5.

  • Network: 50 Mbit/s or higher.

  • RAM: 8 GB DDR4 or higher.

  • HDD № 1: 1x120GB SSD for operating system Windows.

  • HDD № 2: 1x1000GB HDD or SSD for storage or higher.

  • Windows Firewall can be enabled with default settings and no additional settings are required.

3.3. Computer recommended:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7.

  • Network: 100 Mbit/s or higher.

  • RAM: 16 GB DDR4 or higher.

  • HDD № 1: 1x120GB SSD for operating system Windows.

  • HDD № 2: 1x1000GB HDD or SSD for storage or higher.

  • Windows Firewall can be enabled with default settings and no additional settings are required.

Instructions for running a white node at home:

  1. Make sure that your computer is connected to the appropriate router of the respective provider.

  2. Update the node to the latest version of the program and turn off the program (node)

  3. In the folder at your directory name \ networks \ mainnet, delete the data-storage folder.

  4. In the folder your name of the directory \ networks \ mainnet put the .config file with your ip address. The file must be named exactly like that .config. If suddenly this file is called something other than .config, then you need to install Total Commander and use it to rename the file.

  5. To edit the .config file in order to enter your ip address instead of what is written in the file .example_config, you can, for example, with the Notepad ++ program that is attached to the instructions.

  6. Start the node and re-create the storage in the node. Go to the settings tab and look at the status of the node, if the status is “white” you’ve done everything right. Congratulations! Now you have a white node!

Server white node

Requirements:

  1. OS Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2 Standatrd/Datacenter, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019.

  • RAM — 16 Gig or higher.

  • CPU — Intel Xeon E3–1270v2 higher.

  • Storage: 1x 120GB SSD single.

  • Storage: 1x 1TB SSD or higher.

  • Network — 1Gbit/s.

  • Windows Firewall can be enabled with default settings and no additional settings are required.

Instructions for running a white node on a server or at home:

  1. Make sure that your computer is connected to the appropriate router of the respective provider.

  2. Update the node to the latest version of the program and turn off the program (node).

You must shutdown the node and write the new type address into the .config file. In the folder at your directory name \ networks \ mainnet, delete the data-storage folder. Start the node and re-create the storage in the node.
